Hmmm....I don't know. I used to wear biker shorts in a variety of colors and with lace trim-- but I was 8 years old at the time. I think I'm going to have to wait and see how this trend plays out.

i wear bike shorts under all my skirts in the summer when i am without tights or leggings. excellent chub rub fighter!

OMG YES. I would love to wear them under a sheer skirt like pictured. So gorgeous! ASOS has a sheer cage skirt that I love, but sadly it only goes up to UK18 and even that is sold out. I would love some kind of sheer skirt w/ their plus size range! I have an outfit post along the lines of underwear as outerwear that I'm going to post sometime soon! Ahh, but I still have to get my Halloween post out of the way, lol. Anyway, your style is perfect, as always. <33

I feel a bit too long in the tooth to wear bike shorts unless I'm actually riding a bike. I can see wearing them for bike riding in a casual dress/jumper, but otherwise, it's just not my style.

Bike shorts were part of my wardrobe this past summer; whether paired with a cute blouse, random T-shirt or over-sized men's shirt, I was way into them. I had them in three different colors (black, olive green, and grey). They are so versatile and can be dressed up or down like in these photos:

Hmmm I not really sure about it...actually i like the outfit you put together on the other hand biker shorts remind me sooo much of my childhood wear I worn them in the kindergarten together with my disney tshirts...i cant decide what to think about it...://
